DVI es un acrónimo del inglés: “Digital Visual Interface“. Fue la primera evolución de los formatos de vídeo en el paso de analógico a digital.
¿Qué tipos de DVI existen?
Existen 3 tipos de conectores DVI:
DVI-A: analógico
DVI-D: digital
DVI-I: analógico y digital
Básicamente fue pensada para ordenadores, por lo que encontraremos muchos proyectores con conexión tanto VGA como DVI. Mientras el formato de salida no sea DVI-A, el analógico, no tendremos problemas en encontrar conectores para convertir DVI a un proyector HDMI.
